Busted!!!
He's such a good inventor!
He made this pinwheel and because it was open in the centers, it wouldn't spin well so he came up with the idea to cut paper to form pockets for the wind to catch. We tried tape but it would stick so we used some left over leather thread from making his knife holder and I stitched them on for him.
It's so fun to relive childhood memories with my guys. Haven't made pinwheels in decades. Now they want to do different paper boat designs and see which ones float the best.
It's amazing! The house starts out clean in the morning and is trashed by about 10:00 and gets worse as the day progresses. Luckily we did some intensive organizing not too long ago so now that absolutely EVERYTHING has a home, we're able to pick up quickly in the late afternoon.
I don't know how sweet Maeve can stay asleep like that!?!
Tripp's very proud of his new door hanger. Mind you we are into "scary" phase - he's all about ghost stories, Goosebumps books and scary legends. :-o
