5:29pm - We're complete again! Sweet Pea is home. She's doing well but moving pretty slow and is being my shadow. She used to never fear going to the vet...bet she will now. :-(
This morning:
It was a rough morning! We dropped Sweet Pea off at the vet's to get spade. There were tears everywhere. It was so hard!! We get to pick her up this afternoon.
We have been playing with the idea of letting her have a litter of puppies but decided not to. There wouldn't be a chance that we would be able to not keep one and we really enjoy having just her. She has plenty of companionship with the kids and hardly ever gets left by herself since she's always on the go with us.
Of course, I waited too long and she went into heat. Explaining "heat" to the kids was interesting. They took it well and have been babying her even more than normal. Poor thing has been so puny for the last few days (can't blame her).
She really is the best little girl and is such a huge part of our life!
The kids were upset that I only had a couple of photos of her on this post so they went through and picked out a bunch that they wanted on. :-)
