Renaissance Festival School Days 10-2009

The kids LOVED going to the Renaissance Festival this past Wednesday.  They offer a couple of special "school days" where it is much less expensive and geared towards kids.  It was all school groups and mostly teens.  It was a blast and we loved being able to spend time with Sylvia and the girls.
We only had two disappointments that I promised the kids we would go next year on one of the regular weekends....Tripp wasn't able to see any real swords (they don't sell them on school days....imagine that) and we didn't get to see any belly dancing.  Avi was so upset.  I promised her that we would go to Demo's in San Antonio one evening for dinner and a belly dancing show!  :-)
Tripp picked out a wooden broad sword and Torin picked out a wooden dagger with wooden sheath.  They haven't stopped playing with them yet.  They are all already counting down to next year.
